Before starting construction on an outbuilding for your lot, send the following to HOA at canyonshoastillwater@gmail.com
An illustration/representation of the proposed shed with
dimensions,
materials, and
colors.
NOTE: Any paint, brick, or shingles should match the house.
An illustration/representation of the location of the outbuilding on your property with distances from boundary lines and easements.
NOTE: A good rule of thumb is to leave enough space to easily mow all the way around the building.
Outbuildings over 200 square feet require a permit from the City of Stillwater (See http://stillwater.org/document-center/detail/id/192). If a City building permit is required, provide your City permit application and approval.
NOTE: Any damage to the common areas, including but not limited to the grass, sidewalks, drainage, trees, plants, and flowerbeds, must be promptly repaired by the homeowner. If repairs are not completed promptly, the HOA will charge the homeowner for repairs.
The HOA encourages homeowners to ensure contracts with contractors indicate who is responsible for repairing damage done to common areas. The HOA will not charge the contractor for repairs.
Please send information/documents to canyonshoastillwater@gmail.com and the Board will review and respond as timely as possible. Let us know if you have any questions.
