Amanda Aker announced the departure of Tori Wilson from the Board in her role as Vice President. Board members will hold a meeting to elect a replacement Vice President soon. Amanda also advised the neighbors in attendance that Tori’s departure leaves an opening on the Board and encouraged those in attendance to apply. Any neighbor interested in volunteering as a Board member should fill out the questionnaire at https://forms.gle/JcnvHjmkxGr6Q3bK7. Accepting submission until August 1.
Neighbors inquired about and discussed the following topics:
Nuisance cottonwood trees behind properties and possibility of HOA Board handling those.
Sidewalk in park and lack of concrete leading directly to the playground, because of new drainage and sod.
Neighbors suggested possibly building a small bridge over drainage area between sidewalk and playground.
Various street issues, including caving along Platinum, poor drainage at Burris entry and recent hydrant/water line repair on Topaz. Board members encouraged neighbors to report all issues to the City (repeatedly, if necessary) by calling or using the “Request Tracker” on the City’s website..
